About Dot
Dot Jurek is a illustrator and storyboard artist from Poland, currently residing in UK after finishing their studies in Animation. Stories and fairy tails were ever present part of their life growing up, from small made up tales in a car to creating worlds in their mind to daydream the lunch break away.
At 16 they got a chance to take all the doodles and stories they made with them as Dot migrated to UK and started Confetti Collage for Creative Media Production. As soon as their path in life was able to take a full artistic course, they bloomed both as a person but also as an artist. In 2020 they landed their first internship at Needy Cat Games and soon after they joined an online animated project and got quickly promoted to an art director position.
Collage and online career taught them a lot and made them realize how much they love animation as a storytelling medium. This discovery lead them to pursue Batchelor's degree in it at Nottingham Trent University that they graduated from in 2024.

Their professional journey may not be long yet but it is rich with experiences that fuel their love and passion for storytelling and art. Dot's goal is to share their creations with the world and to inspire others and that's why they continue to freelance and stream their artistic process to their growing audience.
